How do you turn one article into content for several platforms?

1Check what your source actually says

Open the content repurposing assistant and paste the article. First ask for its central point, explicit facts and missing information. Check this summary before expanding it into several drafts.

Verify names, dates, prices, services, personal experiences and quotations. An appealing draft is not a reason to invent results or customer feedback. Remove identifying details from private material before sharing it.

2Give each version a clear purpose

Choose the platform you most need to finish first. The directions below are writing options you can adapt to your readers, not rules about platform algorithms.

• WeChat Moments: start with a specific observation and help people who know you understand your view.
• Xiaohongshu: answer one practical reader question with steps, selection criteria or a checklist.
• Short video: explain one point in spoken language, using an example already supported by the source.
• WeChat article: develop the reasoning, process and limits for readers who want more depth.

3Adapt the opening, structure and ending

Continue in the same conversation. Specify who each version addresses, where it should begin, which evidence it should keep and what you want the reader to do. This gives a clearer direction than simply asking for a shorter article.

The assistant may return several sections in its default format. Pick the one you need and revise it first. You do not have to publish every draft.
